Saint Rose Religious
Education & Faith Formation
The Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults (RCIA)
Initiation into the Catholic Community of
Faith
Welcome!
The St. Rose Parish Community warmly
welcomes you. We want you to feel at
home in our midst, and to find a comfortable
atmosphere in which to seek answers to your
questions about the faith and teachings of
the Catholic Church.
If you have not
already done so, it is very important that
you make an appointment for registration
with the Director of the Religious
Education Program (Dona Gentile at
786-0650).
The RCIA is a process by which a person
becomes initiated into the Catholic Church.
It is a journey into a deeper
relationship with Christ and His
Church... it is Becoming Church.
The RCIA is also known as the Catechumenate.
At the weekly gatherings of the
Catechumenate, faith is experienced and
teachings of the Church are shared.
Together, as a community, we travel the path
that leads to the Easter Vigil and the
beginning of renewed life as a Catholic
Christian.
