St. Rose of Lima will present a four day Parish Mission in preparation for the Great Feast of Easter. It finds its inspiration in the Gospel Traditions of the New Testament. The prayers and rituals of Holy Week and Easter inspire us as well as we seek God’s encouragement in the Season of Lent. We are also extraordinarily blessed by the example and writing of Pope Francis whose Apostolic Exhortation, “The Joy of the Gospel,” provides inspiration and challenge us as we seek to recommit ourselves to the following of Jesus in our time. Through prayer, ritual, teaching, and sharing we will walk with Jesus as we hear His Word anew and are touched by his merciful heart of strong and passionate love.
Presentations will be presided by Fr. Tom Bonacci.
From March 17 to 20, 2014, Fr. Tom is offering various activities each day including morning Mass at 8:00 am followed by a morning coffee session/scripture study from 8:45am to 9:45am.
